WHAT IS COMPLETE THE CAPTION?

Complete the Caption is a hilarious photo caption contest that let’s you share your funny photos with the world… and let’s the world come up with their humorous captions for your photos.

We invite you to send in your photos whether it’s family, friends, pets, events or things. Just as long as you think someone might get a corking caption out of it you’re good to go. That’s why we say ‘for all your OMG and LOL moments’.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY PICTURE IS APPROPRIATE?

If you think your picture is “out of the ordinary” then chances are good it works. Unusual, ugly, sexy, crazy, hilarious, rare, quirky, funny… you get the picture.

WHAT KIND OF PHOTOS AND COMMENTS ARE OFF LIMITS?

Pornographic, excessively violent, or anything that is unlawful or deemed unacceptable by 99.9% of the human population.  So no cruelty to animals, children, and undeserving adults.

WHAT SHOULD I INCLUDE IN MY CAPTION?

Keep it short, make it amusing. Don’t overdo it, just a brief explanation to help others understand the picture and laugh will suffice.

I SUBMITTED A PICTURE AND MY CAPTION WAS CHANGED. WHAT ARE YOU PLAYING AT?

There’s a variety of reasons we edit photos or captions. The main reasons being privacy issues, but we might also edit it if we felt the caption you included with your photo was about as funny as a 2 year old with a permanent marker.

I SUBMITTED A PICTURE AND I HAVEN’T SEEN IT ON THE SITE YET?

If your picture is inappropriate, it will not be added to the site. If your picture is useless and just not funny, we won’t put it on the site. If you just recently submitted the picture, then chill, we will get to it so check back later.

MY PICTURE IS ON YOUR WEBSITE AND I WANT IT TAKEN DOWN. HOW DO I DO THAT?

If you’re not a fan of your picture, simply email us and we will take it down, no problem. If you like your photo but hate a particular caption or comment send us an email and we can remove it.

DOES THE SITE COST MONEY?

Yes, it costs US money to run the damn thing not to mention the precious time away from our loved ones that we can never claim back. But you? Sadly, no. It costs you nothing. But please feel free to send whatever money you wish to us. We will gladly accept it.
